Smoothies are the perfect post-workout snack as they are super convenient and easy to make. Almost anything goes – they are relatively flexible in terms of ingredients – you can usually whip one up with whatever you have in your fridge.
This Peach Cobbler Smoothie is one of my favorites as it’s filled with delicious peaches, rolled oats, and spices including ginger and cinnamon for an extra flavor punch. I recommend starting with LACTAID® Milk, which is 100% real dairy minus the lactose, and it’s great for my clients who have a sensitivity to lactose. I love that this smoothie helps to restore energy and provides the optimal nutrients that aid in muscle recovery post-workout. #MilkTheMoments
PEACH COBBLER SMOOTHIE
• 1 cup frozen peaches or 1 small fresh peach
• 1 cup LACTAID® Milk (1%)
• 2 tbsp. rolled oats, uncooked
• 1 tbsp. ground flaxseed
• 1/8 tsp ginger
• 1/4 tsp cinnamon
• 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
• 1 packet stevia
• Ice to taste (if using fresh peaches)
Instructions:
Add all ingredients to a blender and puree!
For a snack size smoothie, skip the oats. Enjoy!
